LEGAL COACHING
Legal Coaching with Kehoe Moneyhun Law, LLC only requires clients to come in when they need to. It is a pay-as-you-go model, which can be more cost-effective and gives the clients more control over their total costs. While we sometimes take a retainer for these services (such as when we are drafting documents), the retainer amounts are much lower than they would be for a traditional case.
- Self-represented agreements: If a couple has come to an agreement on all of the issues of their divorce, we offer two solutions: (1) We can help by drafting up all of the documents and getting them filed with the courthouse. (2) If the parties have already filled out the state forms, we help by reviewing the documents to make sure the right boxes are checked and that they fully understand what they are signing.
- Self-represented assistance: When someone has decided to represent themselves in a court process, but would like some help, that is where we come in. We can coach you on how to speak to the judge, how to organize their exhibits, what questions to ask of witnesses, and what witnesses make the most sense. We offer extended consultations to help answer all of these questions and more.
- Mediation support: If you and your spouse have chosen a mediator but you are not sure what to say at mediation, or you want to make sure you know your legal rights before making any final agreements, we can help you there, too.
